GREENSBORO, N.C. — Firehouse Subs opened Friday at 1562-B Highwoods Blvd. in Greensboro. It is in Jefferson Village and is Greensboro’s second location. The first opened at 1605 Westover Terrace, according to the Greensboro News & Record.

It is being opened by local franchisees Stephen Davis and Stephen King.

The chain features medium and large hot specialty subs, including the top sellers the Hook & Ladder – with smoked turkey breast and Virginia honey ham smothered with Monterrey Jack cheese – and the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket – with USDA choice beef brisket smoked for at least 16 hours in an authentic Texas smokehouse and topped with melted cheddar cheese and a special combination of sauces, including Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce.

Firehouse Subs offers an Under 500 Calories menu of six subs and four chopped salads, which debuted last year.
