SURRY COUNTY, N.C. — A possible body recovery is underway at a Surry County farm, according to Surry County Sheriff Graham Atkinson.

Authorities are digging at a farm off Palmer Road near Round Peak Church Road, searching for a man who was last seen eight years ago.

The farm is near the Beulah community.

Crews have been digging since Monday after receiving information that a man named James Roger Huff may be buried there.

Huff disappeared in 2007, Atkinson said.

So far, no suspects have been identified in the case.
