MADISON, N.C. — A man is wanted for stealing heavy-duty equipment batteries from a farm in Madison.

Derek Julius Paschal, 20, of 100 Vernons MHP Road, allegedly stole 38 various heavy-duty equipment batteries from Healthy Living Organic Farm on Eden Church Road on Sept. 14.

Deputies believe Paschal is attempting to elude arrest.

In addition, investigators are looking to identify another person who is believed to be an accomplice to Paschal.

Anyone who knows of Paschal’s whereabouts or the identity of his accomplice is asked to call the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office at (336) 634-3232 or Rockingham County Crime Stoppers at (336) 349-9683.
