JAMESTOWN, N.C. – The biggest Subway restaurant in America has opened in the Triad, according to the Triad Business Journal.

The massive sandwich shop opened earlier this week at Furnitureland South in Jamestown. It is 6,668 square feet and seats 211 people.

“To be able to offer a healthy, tasty and fresh quality dining choice for our clientele while they are here at the World’s Largest Furniture Store is exciting,” said Jeff Harris, president of Furnitureland South, according to the paper.

The restaurant brings 10 jobs to the Jamestown area and will reportedly feature an upscale look. It’s owned and operated by Furnitureland South, at 5635 Riverdale Drive in Jamestown.
