Winston-Salem strip club workers set up drug deals, according to warrants
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Alcohol Law Enforcement agents had three Winston-Salem strip clubs under surveillance for about 10 months before agents arrested 24 workers Oct. 23, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
Officers started their investigation into Paper Moon at 1007 Salisbury Ridge Road in January.
Investigations at Filly’s Gentlemen’s Club at 400 Peters Creek Parkway and Club Risque at 5910 University Parkway began in July.
Search warrants for the three clubs show that strip club workers were selling cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone and alprazolam to undercover ALE agents, local law enforcement officers and an ALE informant.
In one case, a Filly’s security employee, Adam Bridges, spoke with another employee, Angela Vazquez, and an undercover agent about getting cocaine and made phone calls and sent text messages to a dealer on his cellphone.
