GREENSBORO, N.C. -- If you're a Halloween junkie, see if you can measure up to one Yadkin County couple.

Behind the scary clowns and monsters at the Woods of Terror in Greensboro are Frankenstein and his bride -- only they're a real bride and groom in costume.

"It's something different, it's not the normal wedding, and it's not for everybody," explains Kelly Greene, the bride.

That's right, the couple is getting married in full deathly makeup -- in front of thousands of strangers on Halloween.

"I had the idea, but I didn't know how she would go for it, so I kind of ran it by her and she raised her eyebrow and she said, ‘that's a really good idea’ and I was like, ‘thank goodness,’" said Jason Gentry, the groom.

They say at first they looked at having their big day at a vineyard, or more traditional venue.

"Everything was booked up, so we started thinking of places to have it, this popped into our heads because the Woods of Terror is awesome," said Greene.

Greene and Gentry don't have flower girls or a ring bearer, instead they've got sugar skulls and zombies. But they still can't have a wedding without saying their vows, which they did in traditional fashion. The couple says tonight is all about the memories.

"Most weddings if you think about it, it's hard to remember what song they played or anything about it, but this you're going to remember for years and years to come," says Greene.

"It was just a really good experience for both of us and I think when we show it to our grandchildren one day, we'll have a really fun story with it," said Gentry.
