Police searching for armed, dangerous man in High Point bank robbery

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man who they believe robbed a High Point bank.

A man entered the Suntrust Bank, located at 1301 Eastchester Drive, just before noon on Monday and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect indicated he had a gun, but no weapon was ever displayed.

High Point Police have identified the suspect as Jeremy Marquis Jefferson, 26, of Charlotte.

Jefferson is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon.
