Man drives into people outside Reidsville home after fight

REIDSVILLE, N.C. – Authorities said a man got into his vehicle and drove into several people outside a Reidsville home after a fight.

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident which was reported Sunday at 3362 Vance St. Ext. in Reidsville.

Deputies said an altercation between two people escalated and a man got into his vehicle and struck several bystanders in the yard and four vehicles parked at the home.

The driver is in custody after being treated and released from a local hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. There’s no word on any other injuries.

Deputies said charges are forthcoming. The suspect’s name and further information about the investigation are not currently being released.
