CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters are investigating a second suspicious fire in less than two months at an east Charlotte house.

Fire crews had to cut holes in the roof of the house on Sharon Amity Road at Albemarle Road to get to the fire.

No one lives at the home and officials said the fire caused another $35,000 in damage on top of the damage from last month.

Investigators said no one had made any repairs since the first fire on Sept. 7.
