2 charged in theft of $1,500 worth of diabetic test strips from Jamestown Walgreens

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Investigators have identified and arrested two suspects who were wanted for stealing $1,500 worth of diabetic strips from a Jamestown pharmacy.

Bradley Aaron Butler, 37, and Jessica Lynne Butler, 32, were both charged with felony larceny.

According to Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes, the incident happened on Oct. 18 around 5 p.m. at the Walgreens located at 407 W. Main St., in Jamestown.

Jessica Butler allegedly distracted the clerk while Bradley Butler allegedly stole $1,500 in Accu-Chek Aviva Plus, Accu-Chek Smartview and One Touch Ultra Blue diabetic test strips.

Authorities did not release any information about their court dates.
