Man found with gunshot wound in Greensboro street deemed a homicide
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police are investigating a homicide after a man who was found with a gunshot wound in the middle of the street died.
It happened at about 8:20 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Denise Drive and police are calling it an aggravated assault deemed a homicide.
William Charrone Lamar, 35, was found in the middle of Denise Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound after police. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police said 38-year-old Kywan Dwayne Pinnix was also found injured at the scene and has been treated and released from a hospital. She was taken into custody for unrelated outstanding warrants.
The investigation is ongoing and no other details were immediately available.
