NC country singer Kellie Pickler teaming up with Faith Hill for new TV show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — North Carolina country star Kellie Pickler is teaming up with Faith Hill for a new daytime talk show.

The Albemarle native will host the show and Hill will be the executive producer, according to reports.

“Based in Nashville and shot in a modern farmhouse-style home, this exciting new program will be an informative, southern-inspired and fun-filled celebration of everyday living and activities,” according to Hill’s website.

Hill described Pickler as “a woman who has so many talents.” Pickler, 29, was a 2006 contestant on “American Idol” and has gone on to a thriving country music career.

The name of the show has yet to be released. There is no word on when the first show will air.
