Duke Energy is reporting power outages across Forsyth and Guilford counties.

There are more than 1,100 customers without power in Guilford County and more than 1,900 without power in Forsyth County.

The Winston-Salem Police Department is beginning to receive an increase in the amount of calls related to the current weather conditions.

Officers are currently on the scene of downed power lines and trees in the roadway at multiple locations. The intersection of South Main and Clemmonsville Road is one of the areas closed due to fallen power lines.

Also, there are traffic lights down at some intersections in the area.

At this time, no major roadways are impacted, but that could change at any point.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and plan for delays until weather conditions improve.
