Investigation underway after multiple shots fired into Burlington home

BURLINGTON, N.C. — An investigation is underway after multiple shots were fired into a Burlington home early Friday morning.

When officers arrived at the home in the 200 block of Hall Avenue just after 1:30 a.m., they found three victims in two separate homes.

One of the victims sustained a non-life-threatening injury from debris from a bullet that damaged property.

A witness told police that the suspects were in a cream or gold-colored sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus. The suspects fled north on Hall Avenue toward Apple Street.

The investigation is ongoing.
