Davidson County man arrested on multiple drug charges

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A man in Denton was arrested on multiple drug charges Thursday.

Joshua Alexander Peacock, 25, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The State Bureau of Investigation and the Denton Police Department executed a search warrant at Peacock’s apartment located at 150 East Finch Ave.

During the investigation, detectives seized remnants of a meth lab, .5 grams of meth and other items used to manufacture the drug.

Peacock was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $30,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Lexington Court on Jan. 28.
