DUNEDIN, Fla. — Video footage from a Florida soldier’s GoPro led deputies to put his estranged wife in jail, according to WWLTV.

Michael, whose last name was not given because he is a victim of domestic violence, has been tying a GoPro to his belt to record each exchange with his ex throughout their lengthy divorce.

The couple was in the middle of a custody battle over their twin 2-year-olds when the attack happened.

“This is just one of many instances where I’ve had to use the camera to either prove her guilt or prove my innocence and that’s the only reason I am carrying it,”┬áMichael told WWLTV.

Last Thursday Michael’s GoPro captured video him reaching into the back of a car to unbuckle one of his sons. In the video Michael suddenly screams and you can see what appears to be the hand of his estranged wife, Corrine Novak, 37, as she forcefully grabs his genitals.

“We have court coming up so hopefully it goes to show a little bit of validity to what I’ve been doing and what I’ve been saying and disapproving what she’s been saying,” Michael told WWLTV. “It seems to be overlooked when the man is a victim of domestic violence.”
