LOS ANGELES — A California high school football player allegedly rubbed IcyHot all over his opponent’s face during a game in early September, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The whole incident was caught on camera.

A player on the Salesian High School football team allegedly rubbed the topical cream, used for aches and muscle strains, on the  face of La Canada High School’s Angel Salazar.

Salazar had to be walked off the field after the incident.

“That’s the kind of substance that if it really got in your eyes, it can do some damage,” La Canada Principal Ian McFeat told CBS Los Angeles.

Misconduct on the football field has been the subject of multiple national news stories in recent weeks.

The most notable are the two Texas teens who blindsided a referee and a New Jersey player who hit an opponent with his helmet.
