Greensboro convenience store robbed

Greensboro, N.C. — Greensboro police are searching for a man they say robbed a Greensboro convenience store early Tuesday morning.

At 2:01 a.m. police responded to the Kwik Trip Service Station located at  1200 East Bessemer Ave. in reference to an attempted robbery.

An armed suspect entered the business demanding money.  The suspect fled the scene on foot after being unsuccessful in obtaining any money.  No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.

The name and address of the victim are being withheld temporarily.
