Suspect in 4 robberies arrested in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police have arrested a man in connection with four recent robberies.

Mario Bryant, 45, of High Point, is charged with four counts of common law robbery and one count of simple assault.

Police said Bryant is the suspect in robberies at these locations:

  • Sept. 12: Pick and Go Mart located at 1101 Eastchester Drive
  • Sept. 15, shortly after midnight: Carolina Dinner at 201 Eastchester Drive
  • Sept. 15, 1:20 a.m.: Cash Points ATM at 2600 N. Main St.
  • Sept. 15, 7 a.m.: Express Mart at 1901 Brentwood St.

Following the robbery at Express Mart, Bryant was located a short time later in his vehicle on Wade Place and arrested without incident, police said.

No one was injured and no weapons were used during any of the robberies, police said.

Bryant received a $100,000 secured bond.
