Five people shot, injured outside NC music venue; three arrested

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three men have been arrested in connection to a shooting near a North Carolina concert venue that injured five people.

WBTV reported that Chris Ardrey, 19, Cario Davis, 18, and Jason Farmer, 19, face charges in connection to a shooting.

Authorities said it happened outside the NC Music Factory complex in Charlotte at about 10 p.m. Friday.

The incident reportedly started after a fight between people at a nearby recording studio and spilled out into the parking lot of the venue.

A woman and two men were shot in the parking lot outside the venue and taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

Two other people drove themselves to hospitals after being shot, according to reports. The other three victims were said to be in stable condition.

The NC Music Factory said on Facebook that they are “deeply saddened by the horrendous actions that took place.”
