GREENSBORO, N.C. — A pedestrian was hurt Sunday night after being involved in a hit-and-run.

Greensboro Police responded at about 10 p.m. to the crash near the intersection of Yanceyville Rd and Lorraine Rd.  The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld pending family notification.

An unknown vehicle was traveling southbound on Yanceyville Rd when it struck the pedestrian. The vehicle fled the scene and has not yet been located.
