BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- A woman was pushed off the roof of a garage at an off-campus party near Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.

In the video, a crowd of 200 people can be heard chanting "jump" as the 20-year-old woman dances near the edge of the roof.

Then, a man can be seen violently pushing her off the roof.

The woman dropped 10 feet into the crowd but was not badly injured because the crowd broke her fall.

The alleged pusher was identified as college junior, Alexander Marquez.

Marquez was arraigned and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

His lawyer told the judge it was simply a college party that got out of hand.

Marquez pleaded not guilty and has a second court date scheduled for this month.

His bail was set at $5,000.

The university is now investigating the incident.
