Greensboro man charged after allegedly stabbing brother

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Greensboro man was charged after allegedly stabbing his brother in the back early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to a call about a stabbing at a home, located at 1238 Junior Order Home Road in Lexington, just before 1 a.m.

The victim, who had a stab-like wound to his back, was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He is now in stable condition.

After an investigation, the victim’s brother, Damon Lamont Kimber, 36, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Kimber is being held in the Davidson County Jail under a $75,000 secured bond. His court date is scheduled for Sept. 28.
