Greensboro convenience store robbed

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro convenience store was robbed early Monday.

At 3:03 a.m. police responded to The Pop Shoppe on 1710 Stanley Road in reference to a robbery.

A subject entered the business displaying a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect left by unknown means with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.

The name and address of the victim is being withheld temporarily.
