Thomasville police searching for man accused of armed robbery at bank

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Thomasville bank.

Officers responded to the Woodforest Bank at 5:17 p.m. in reference to a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect was described as a black male between the ages of 35 and 40. He is approximately 6′ to 6’2″ tall, weighs approximately 220 pounds, and was wearing a teal green shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots.

The suspect was seen leaving the scene in a white early 2000s model Ford Explorer (Eddie Bauer edition) with tan or gold trim traveling toward Liberty Drive.
