Gunshot wound victim found lying in Greensboro intersection

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police found a gunshot wound victim lying in the roadway early Thursday morning in Greensboro.

A call came in about shooting at Broad Avenue and Pearson Street at 3:20 a.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim lying in the roadway with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
