2 men accused of stealing $5K in toys, equipment from SC daycare

CLOVER, S.C. — Two men are accused of stealing more than $5,000 worth of toys and equipment from a South Carolina daycare center in May, according to WBTV.

Joshua Rogers, 34, of Dallas, and Joseph Daniel, 32, of Gaffney, were charged with grand larceny, second-degree burglary and criminal conspiracy.

The two are accused of climbing the Giving Tree Child Care facility’s fence to get to the playground.

That is where they were caught on camera stealing a toy climbing tree, a playhouse and other toys worth approximately $5,350.

According to police, Rogers also faces charges in connection to a larceny at Sweet Water Bar and Grill in May.

Rogers was released on a $30,000 bond and Daniel was released on a $20,5000 bond, according to WBTV.
