Burlington police search for hit-and-run driver

BURLINGTON, N.C. – Police are asking for the public’s help to find the driver that hit a pedestrian on Webb Ave. late Saturday night.

Around 11 p.m., Whitney Faucette, 28, was struck by a by a white four door vehicle as she crossed Webb Ave. near Williamson St., police said.

Police said that the vehicle didn’t stop, but continued on Webb Ave. towards Queen Ann St.

Faucette was transported to UNC Chapel Hill Hospital with non-life threaten injuries, according to authorities.
