New Hampshire circus tent collapse: 2 dead, 15 injured

LANCASTER, N.H. — Two people were killed when a circus tent collapsed at a New Hampshire fairground on Monday, according to NECN.

The tent collapse happened at the Lancaster Fairgrounds. In addition to the two fatalities, 15 others were injured, NECN reports.

Initially, 250 people were trapped under the tent.

New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan tweeted that state officials are working to assist with the incident.
