Suspect in NC murder surrenders

FRANKLINTON, N.C. — The man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Franklin County has been taken into custody.

Garry Yarborough of Zebulon surrendered to authorities in Raleigh around 5:30 a.m. Monday after a SWAT team surrounded the Days Inn Raleigh Glenwood-Crabtree in the 6600 block of Glenwood Avenue.

His arrest comes after Tracy Williams of Franklinton was found shot to death in a Food Lion parking lot Sunday evening in Franklin County.
