Pfafftown man allegedly stole firearms from home, sold them

PFAFFTOWN, N.C. — A Pfafftown man was arrested for allegedly stealing firearms from a home in Davidson County.

James Baker, 22, was arrested and charged with two counts of larceny of a firearm.

On July 14, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office received a report that firearms were stolen from a home in the Midway community.

During the investigation, detectives identified a suspect who had been living at the victim’s home for a brief period of time.

They then discovered that the suspect sold the stolen firearms.

Baker was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court Aug. 17.
