New restaurant coming to Greensboro; opening first shop in North Carolina

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Potbelly Sandwich Shop will open its first shop in North Carolina soon, according to The Greensboro News & Record.

The shop is expected to open Aug. 18 at 1310 Westover Terrace at the Gallery of Shops in Greensboro.

Chicago-based Potbelly offers made-to-order toasted sandwiches, salads, hand-dipped milkshakes and freshly baked cookies. The restaurant will also feature live music.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop first opened in Chicago in 1977 and now includes more than 300 shops across the United States.
