Greensboro man charged with huffing fumes, spitting at officer

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man is accused of trying to kick out a patrol vehicle window and threatening an officer following his arrest on Thursday, according to The Greensboro News & Record.

Fairfax Stuart Landstreet V, 19, is charged with inhaling toxic fumes, DWI, communicating threats, resist, delay or obstruct an officer, injury to personal property and malicious conduct by a prisoner.

Police say Landstreet was driving his car about 7:15 a.m. Thursday when he crashed, hitting two utility poles near Spring Garden Street and Willowbrook Drive.

Police had probable cause to believe Landsteet was impaired from huffing illegal drugs and arrested him, said Susan Danielsen, police spokeswoman.
