Trump announces Sen. Lindsey Graham’s phone number at SC campaign rally
Update 2:45 p.m.: In response to FOX8’s article below, Graham’s campaign manager Christian Ferry, wrote:
“Donald Trump continues to show hourly that he is ill-prepared to be Commander in Chief.
The two people most excited about Donald Trump’s candidacy are Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Because of Trump’s bombastic and ridiculous campaign, we aren’t talking about Obama’s horrible deal with Iran or Hillary Clinton’s plans to continue Obama’s failed national security agenda.”
Donald Trump announced presidential candidate and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham’s phone number at a South Carolina campaign rally Tuesday after the senator called him a “jackass,” according to CBS News.
CBS News confirmed the number read on stage was in fact Graham’s cell number.
On “CBS This Morning” Graham said he was fed up with Trump after he undermined Sen. John McCain’s military service.
“I don’t care if he drops out. Stay in the race, just stop being a jackass,” Graham said Tuesday on “CBS This Morning,” according to CBS News.
Trump’s comments about McCain at the Iowa Family Leadership Summit on Saturday only added to the backlash the presidential candidate was already facing because of his comments about Mexican immigrants.
At the leadership summit, Trump said that McCain, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam for five and a half years, was not a war hero because he was captured.
On Monday, Trump blamed the media for misinterpreting his comments.
Although Trump is leading in the polls, Graham told CBS Trump has crossed the line.
“This is the beginning of the end of Donald Trump,” Graham told CBS News prior to his phone number being released to the public.
