BURKE COUNTY, N.C. – The North Carolina property where much of the “Hunger Games” was filmed is for sale and tours are currently being offered.

WBTV reported that the historic 72-acre Henry River Mill Site in Hickory is currently listed at a selling price of $1.4 million.

Much of the 2012 hit movie was filmed at the site and the main characters where from there in the movie. The entire movie was filmed in North Carolina.

The location has 20 buildings that includes mill homes that have fallen into disrepair. Henry River Mill Village owner Wade Shepherd said he spends two hours a day mowing the grass.

A group is offering guided tours of the property and reenactments from the movie, according to WBTV.

In 2012, FOX8’s Cindy Farmer and her daughter visited locations where the enormously popular movie was filmed. Click here for that story.
