New life for old theater in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. -- In this edition of Roy's Folks, meet a young couple from Alamance County who is making a huge investment into a Randolph County Landmark.

Dewey Brown is the fiddle player for music icon Dr. Ralph Stanly and this weekend Dr. Ralph and his Clinch Mountain boys will help Dewey kick off the grand reopening of the old Liberty Theater in Liberty. Dewey and his wife Leslie recently bought the old theater. They plan to have regular live music of all kinds and even hope to bring back movies to the theater.
