Winston-Salem man shot while sitting in car at his house

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Someone shot a man while he was outside his house Monday night, the News & Record reported.

The 24-year-old had just driven home from work about 11 p.m. and was still sitting his car at his house in the 1700 block of Argonne Boulevard when the shooting happened, police said.

Before the victim could get out of his car another car drove up, according to police. Someone inside the second car shot at the victim while he was still sitting in his car.

The victim was shot once in his right foot, police said. He was taken by EMS to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening.
