6-year-old boy saves missing woman’s life in North Carolina

TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. — A young boy is being called a hero after saving a woman’s life in North Carolina.

WLOS reported that it happened Tuesday in Pisgah Forest when an 83-year-old woman with dementia walked away from her caregiver and got lost.

Isaiah Rogers, 6, was at his family’s business when they were alerted about the missing woman. That’s when Isaiah’s parents asked him to look around out back near a field.

“I came around there and then I saw her laying down on the ground,” Isaiah said.
