HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. – A video featuring a Tennessee woman’s “summer safety tips” after the recent shark attacks off the North Carolina coast has gone viral.

Veronica-Pooh Nash Poleate posted the video to Facebook late last month and it currently has more than 6.4 million views, over 40,000 likes and about 214,000 shares.

In the video, Poleate shares her thoughts on the shark attacks off the Carolinas coast this summer and ways to avoid them.

“I’m not going to the ocean, because that’s the shark’s house,” she said in the video. “The shark has the right to eat you up if you in his house. When chickens come in my house, guess what? They get ate.”
