Lexington residents may see discolored water

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Lexington residents may see discolored water for the next day or two due to a temporary main water valve failure, according to the Lexington Dispatch.

City officials said the water is not hazardous. The discoloring comes from a surge of water that stirred up the system at the water plant.
