A 21-year-old Tennessee man is going to marry his wife a second time after a car crash wiped away her memory of the first wedding.

Jeremy Stamper’s wife Justice could not recall their wedding from last Aug. 1, even after looking at photos and video.

Justice was in a car wreck 19 days after getting married. A driver slammed into the back of her car while traveling more than 50 mph while she was stopped and about to turn left on a side road. She was left with a concussion and no memory of her wedding.

“About a month after the accident she finally told me. She said, ‘I don’t want you to be mad, but I do not remember the wedding,'” Jeremy Stamper said on a GoFundMe page he started. “I was heartbroken and instantly said I would do it all again for her.”

Jeremy raised nearly $6,000 online in one month. Soon after, a wedding photographer and a local DJ offered their services for free — and the entire Marion, Va., community where they grew up pitched in to fund the rest, WCYB reported.

“It means everything to me,” Jeremy told WCYB. “Now, whether her memory comes back or not, we will have that together.”

The couple plans to get married again on Aug. 1 — the same day they first said ‘I do’ — and at the same Virginia venue.

“Just seeing the look on his face when I walk down the aisle to him,” Justice told WCYB. “I would do anything give anything to have that moment back.”
