ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A couple was arrested Wednesday in Burlington for allegedly trafficking drugs from the Charlotte area.

Nayna Patel Taylor, 54, and her husband, Edward Charles Taylor, 65, were arrested for two counts of trafficking bath salts and maintaining a place to keep or sell drugs.

Both suspects are accused of transporting drugs in their car from the Charlotte area.

Police seized more than 200 grams of bath salts from their car during a drug investigation in the 2000 block of Corporation Parkway in Burlington.

They were placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.
