Teen charged with murder of grandfather in North Carolina

DURHAM, N.C. — The grandson of a man found dead in a Durham parking lot Thursday morning was charged in his murder.

Police charged 16-year-old Dominick Jackson of Durham with murdering his grandfather, 65-year-old William Evans.

Evans was found shot to death in a pool of blood at the entrance of an American Red Cross building, located at 4737 University Drive, just before 6 a.m.
