DEVON, England — A woman who placed a classified ad asking for a companion to test her “time machine” with is set to make her journey on Friday.

According to Yahoo News UK, the time traveler, known only as Anna, posted an ad on Gumtree asking someone to join her in trying out her homemade device.

She said she was overwhelmed by the number of replies to her ad.

“After sifting through thousands of replies I am pleased to say that I have found a suitable candidate,” she said.

For those who may be skeptical (see: most people), the whole thing will be live-streamed on the Internet.

Rob Hutt, from Big Shiny Ideas, the company handling the coverage, said:

“The experiment will be taking place at an undisclosed location in Mid Devon and our client would like to apologise in advance for any interference to any of the local residents electricity supply.”

You can watch the stream on Anna’s website at about 4 p.m. ET Friday.
