GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Crews are scrambling to get power back on to customers in High Point this morning.

The High Point Electric website said more than 2,100 customers are without power, but crews are saying it’s closer to 500.

Crews are dispersed between East Kearns and Wise avenues to figure out what caused the outage.

The outage has knocked out power to traffic lights as well. Drivers are reminded to treat those intersections as a four-way stop.
