Burlington woman arrested on drug trafficking charges, man still on the run

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A woman was arrested on drug trafficking charges in Burlington on Wednesday.

The Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team searched a home, located at 556 Mitchell Street, after receiving complaints from the community that the residents there were trafficking drugs.

During the search, authorities found more than two ounces of cocaine, two firearms and a small amount of marijuana.

Amy Dennis, 39, and Anthony Michael Salvato, 29, both face drug trafficking charges.

Dennis was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and possession of marijuana. She’s being held in the Alamance County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.

Authorities have issued a warrant for Salvato’s arrest for trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm by a felon. They are still looking for him.
