OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. — A shark has been caught on video at the same North Carolina beach where a girl boogie boarding was recently attacked.

ABC News Today reported that vacationer Greg Phillips recorded the video Monday at Ocean Isle Beach and posted it to Facebook earlier this week.

Phillips said the shark appeared only about 10 or 15 feet in front of him in the sand. He said the water was only two or three feet deep.

The video was shot about a week after Kiersten Yow, 12, of Archdale, and Hunter Treschl, 16, of Colorado, were attacked by a shark at a beach in Oak Island.

Treschl’s left arm was amputated below his shoulder. Yow lost her left arm below the elbow and suffered a leg injury.

A few days before that, a 13-year-old boogie boarding at Ocean Isle Beach was attacked by a shark. She was not severely injured, but the shark took bites from her boogie board.
