WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A man from the Winston-Salem area has found some of his childhood video games at a store more than 20 years later.

Retro Reboot in Pineville recently posted to Facebook that Jordan Cheek came into their store looking for some old games from his past.

He found the games — the exact copies. The video games apparently had his mother’s handwriting on the cartridges.

“Somehow his original cartridges from his childhood found their way into our shop and back into his hands 20-plus years later. This is why we love what we do,” the business posted to Facebook.
