Documents reveal organization trafficked drugs on planes through NC airport

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Homeland Security agents are investigating an organization that used commercial aircraft to transport marijuana between Charlotte and San Francisco, according to court documents.

The investigation revealed the organization made at least 47 trips from Charlotte to San Francisco.
