Tommy Chong

Comedy legend Tommy Chong revealed earlier this week that he is battling rectal cancer.

Chong, 77, told Us Weekly on Tuesday that he is undergoing treatment. He also tweeted about it, revealing both “good and bad news.”

“I have good news and bad news. First the bad news, the cancer came back and it’s a real pain in the butt. The good news is I now have to use more marijuana to treat the cancer.”

Chong battled stage-one prostate cancer back in 2012 by consuming hemp oil at night. He shot to stardom as one-half of the comedic “Cheech & Chong” duo in the 1970s and has since been on “That ’70s Show” and “Dancing with the Stars.”
